I honestly cannot stand it whenever references to the fandom are made in the show. For example, Lyra and Bon Bon’s friendship, the names given to several different background ponies, and especially Derpy. If you ask me, it’s just slight ass kissing and pandering.

gesture drawing is great, but there’s nothing like long sessions to really nail down details.

after 3 1/2 years of training with graphite and charcoal, colored pencil on tinted paper is a favorite for drawing (along with oils and watercolors!)

Now I never did a 6 hour session, but I always preferred to work in colored pencil for all of my life drawing exercises.
